About Resilient Rhema
Several sources indicate that resilience involves the ability to recover from life's adversities or a drastic change within a set of norms. Rhema is a word I heard all the time in church; often described as "a right now word from the Lord." However, rhema is Greek for "utterance" or "things said." Resilience is derived from the Latin word "resiliens," which is from the present participle of the word "resilire;" meaning "to recoil or rebound." Resilient Rhema is a place where we collectively learn to increase our durability against life's most difficult moments through words of transparency, encouragement, and faith.

You have a special invitation to join my journey of healing and wholeness as I rebound from my life's most traumatic events. This environment is tailor-made for discovery, growth, and spiritual navigation. Here you are free to peruse the pages at your leisure and find strength in the words I openly share with you. In the deepest moments of my trials, I sought hard for someone who understood my story and who could touch my pain without fleeing. Books of "how to" and "step-by-step" instructions felt cold and impossible to complete. There is no way I can feel your pain or fully understand your story, but I invite you into my journey, where you will find community, connectedness, and comfort.

Resilient Rhema has three pillars: Creative Sharing (The Story), Wellness Support (The Healing), and Christian Simplicity(The Faith). Read below for more information on each of the pillars, and visit the corresponding pages to read related posts.
The Story
We all have a story. We all walk a journey in life. We have choose to give the world a window into the pages riddled with life we wish we could rewrite, and hope to be around long enough to see what comes next.
The Healing
Pain of past, present, and future all need one thing: a path of healing. This process has never been linear for anyone. It involves highs, lows, steps forward, and steps backward. However, we know every moment is teaching us something new.
The Faith
We struggle with our faith in the darkest of moments. This wrestling is less about the existence of God, but rather what He is challenging us to do. This thing called faith pushes, presses, and provokes us to do more than we feel we can do.
